7 Steps to Make Your Dreams Come True!

1. Visualize your goal:

Every incredible idea, technological and medical advancements, artistic masterpieces, all began with with the ability to imagine. The difference between Elon musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, JK Rowling, and Opera, is their ability to imagine a world that didn’t exist until they made it happen. Your brain is your superpower, so use it to the utmost and design a life for yourself that only you can envision. Don’t think small, don’t settle for whatever your environment is in this moment. Dream big and work for it.

2. Build a plan with a deadline

Make your goals achievable. Set 3 goals that you can do in a year. If you have more than that, then you’re not focusing on what’s actually important to you. I prefer to just focus on one project at a time so I can fully immerse myself in it until I’m done.

Deadlines keep you accountable. I have life, yearly, 3 month, month, weekly and daily goals set for myself. Even if you fall short, you will get much closer to where you want to be in life.

3. Stare fear in the face

Being afraid is normal. Courage can only come from being scared. Anything worthwhile isn’t easy, and will likely have you feeling like you want to run for the hills. Run towards your fears. It’s the thing that scares you the most that you want the most. See yourself as tough, brave, strong, and that you can do anything you set your mind to. The come and kick fears ass.

4. Believe wholeheartedly

Everything I’ve ever done for myself was considered impossible by someone. If I did what I was taught, I’d be living the same town, without educating myself, with an eating disorder and in poverty. I was told I’d never do anything with my life. If I listened, that’s what I’d be doing now.

My mom had 13 miscarriages before she had me. I was her miracle baby. Whatever you are struggling with in your own life, even if it’s seems impossible to change your situation, there is hope for the future you dream of. Believe in miracles. Manifest your reality. People say it all the time because it is the path to turning your life into anything you set your heart on.

5. Take action

Now, take all that inspiration and move. Mel Robbins is renowned from her countdown method. When you want to do something do it then. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, decide! Her book The 5 Second Rule is will encourage you to take action now. Move your body and it will become a habit to move more. The more you act, the more you learn about yourself, the more you will fail, learn, and gain daily successes that will prove how capable you are and bring you closer to your dream.

6. Focus hard

It’s important to not keep yourself busy. There are many people that work hard, they run errands, they do chores, they take care of their family or friends daily wishes, but people rarely work hard at their dreams.

Be the hardest worker you know. When you work towards your goal, it helps to set a timer 15 min, 30 min, an hour, whatever you can allocate. For that time, turn your phone on airplane mode, go to a space without distractions and just go hard, give 150% of you to your dream and you will surprise how much progress you will make.

7. Never, ever give up

The main factor of success is resilience. The difference between those that do and don’t are the ones that never start or give up before they achieve what they want. Have the grit to unapologetically fail, and fail again. Love every failure you make, because it teaches you how to win. Keep going when everyone else sleeps in, watches Netflix, goes to parties, you grind. That’s what will define you. Have the discipline to do what others won’t day in and out, make sacrifices, and even when all hope seems lost, make like the Journey song and don’t stop believing, keep going no matter what anyone does, even on the hard days show up for you. Your dream can be your reality if you stand up, take that step forward, and never give up.

Now all that's left to do is take these steps and make your dream happen!

With light and love.
